Cars - Essay

The invention of the car and its further popularization has meaning a great change on how the world is shaped in the present, this based on the way that radically modified the time used when a person is travelling from one point to another, therefore becoming an efficient  tool to save time or employ it in other activities.

Indeed, now travel within the cities and between them is almost inconceivable without some kind of motorized vehicle, we all get to our works and schools thanks to this amazing invention and practically the whole world is build it up around connections that are possible thanks to cars, planes, ships, trains, in other words, thanks to the technology focused on transportation, which roots are the first motors, and therefore, cars.

However, the fact that the world is shaped by roads has important consequences in the daily basics, and is that cars are increasing more than the cities are, resulting in problems related to space and traffic, and the invasion of vehicles of spaces that belongs to the people. Eventually, cars will overload the city capacity implying it subsequent paralyzation.

As a regular pedestrian who daily see this nuisance, the cons of the popularity of cars are evident, the benefits can be quickly overshadowed when there is a lack of regulation and control, because there are people behind the wheels who can be also affected by this problem.

In conclusion, vehicles had been a huge investment for society, but they can generate important problems when we are not critics with the potentially effects that can create in the society. It is not only important creating spaces for this useful tools but it is necessary not to limit people from their spaces in order to do it so. We need to remember that cars, as a tool, are means to be a way, not the purpose.
