Melanocytic nevus research

It is known that skin moles are a common and mostly inoffensive issue between the general populations, meaning in most of these circumstances just a beauty mark, a distinctive sign for each person.  In spite of this, there is still a lot that is unknown about skin moles, especially about the very origin of these sun related lesions and the relationship between genes heritage and the appearing of moles.
In this context, I’m interested in the relationship between melanocytic nevus (skin moles) and heritage from a geopolitical vision.

Some authors have already look into the genetics perspective, like the investigation carried by Sherri Bale and his team, that resulted in an article called “Mapping the Gene for Hereditary Cutaneous Malignant Melanoma-Dysplastic Nevus to Chromosome Lp”, a type of nevus or skin mole. This gives a great precedent by locating a gene that could be related to the appearing of the mentioned nevus above, even so,
